Happy Thanksgiving

My heart if full of joy this Thanksgiving Day. I have so much to be grateful for. Today I share a meal with my oldest and youngest daughters and my only grandchild. As I cook the meal I feel the love that each of us brings to the table.
I am grateful for the Turkey for offering himself to nourish our bodies. The vegetables are honored with thanksgiving too.
Our gifts to each other of kindness, shared laughter and joy is a treasure.
My son isn't here today, he is in college. I am so proud of him for following his heart and creating his dreams. What joy this brings me.

I share the meal with the Cat People as I pour turkey drippings over their food. Their delight is over the top.

This day of giving thanks offers a special time to honor the gifts in my life.. I will remember to give thanks each moment of my life.
